Harry Potter studio tour’s Dark Arts event is going to be a hit with Slytherins

Slytherins, it’s time to take over Hogwarts!

Well, to be more specific, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter.

That’s because the Harry Potter attraction is once again hosting its annual Dark Arts event, and there’s plenty of opportunity to immerse yourself in the wicked side of the Wizarding World.

We’re talking interacting with Death Eaters, taking on daring duels and battles, and Halloween feasts that would make Dumbledore proud.

Not to mention that Diagon Alley will be transformed with dimmer lights and foreboding music so you’ll really feel like Voldemort and his Death Eaters are about to apparate at any moment.

Meanwhile the Great Hall will be decorated with over 100 floating pumpkins in keeping with Hogwarts tradition, all modelled on those found in Hagrid’s Pumpkin Patch (and they’re all hand-carved by the Prop Making Department so no two are alike!).

As for the feast? Expect treats including red apples, pumpkins and cauldrons of lollipops from the set.

Wizards and witches can also learn those all-important wand combat moves with Wand Choreographer Paul Harris, before taking part in a live duel with Death Eaters in the back lot.

In fact you’ll feel like you’re in the Battle of Hogwarts as you learn how it would have been filmed, and you’ll get to test out your new wand techniques in a battle with the Death Eaters storming the Hogwarts Bridge.

Other highlights include discovering slimy Troll snot, buckets of dribbling three-headed dog drool and silvery unicorn blood – and finding out how it was created.

Taking place from Friday 28th September to Saturday 10th November, tickets can be booked online only at wbstudiotour.co.uk (you won’t be able to buy them on the day or at the attraction).

But that’s not all they have in store.
